Lance Reed

Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Lance Reed is chief operating officer with responsibility for recruitment and collections, biologics manufacturing and distribution and project management office. Lance has been with OneBlood since inception and brings more than 15 years of blood banking experience. Prior to the OneBlood merger, Lance was chief information officer for Community Blood Centers of Florida, where he led a team in developing a FDA-approved  regulated software system that supports the organization’s entire supply chain. 

Lance Reed

Lance is also responsible for Clinical Discovery Institute, a OneBlood division focused on acquiring biospecimens used in clinical research.

Lance led the creation of a joint venture with the American Red Cross, called ARC-One Solutions, LLC.  The new company will jointly develop and maintain FDA-approved blood establishment control software.

Lance previously held positions as a corporate consultant on technology, marketing, and business strategy solutions.

Lance is a member of the board of directors for Adopt a Classroom and ARC-One Solutions, LLC.  He also is a member of the South Florida CIO Council and South Florida Health Information Exchange.

Lance holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
