OneBlood (the “Company”) is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users. Our Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand how we collect, use and safeguard the information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Service.
For purposes of this Agreement, “Site” refers to the Company’s website, which can be accessed at https://oneblood.org or through our mobile application. “Service” refers to the Company’s services accessed via the Site, in which users can locate blood drive, make an appointment or review information from a previous visit. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Company. “You” refers to you, as a user of our Site or our Service.
By accessing our Site or our Service, you accept our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (found here: [insert link to Terms of Use]), and you consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.
I. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect and use Personal Information in order to operate and provide our Site to you including our Products and/or Services. You may provide Personal Information to us, and we may collect Personal Information from you automatically as you use and navigate through our Site. Personal Information is information that you provide to us which personally identifies you, such as your name, email address, or billing information, or other data that can be reasonably linked to such information by Company, such as information we associate with your Company account. Personal Information may include additional information when submitting resumes.
1. Information collected via Technology
In an effort to improve the quality of the Service, we track and collect information provided to us by your browser or by our software application when you view or use the Service, such as the website you came from (known as the “referring URL”), the type of browser you use, the device from which you connected to the Service, the time and date of access, and other information that does not personally identify you. We track this information using cookies, or small text files which include an anonymous unique identifier. A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website. When you visit the site again, the cookie allows that site to recognize your browser. Cookies may store user preferences and other information. We collect Personal Information and information about the computers, devices, browsers and your Internet activity as you use and interact with our Site. The information we collect includes Unique Identifier, browser type and settings, device type and settings, operating system, mobile network information including carrier name and phone number, and application version number. We also collect information about the interaction of your apps, browsers, and devices with our services, including IP address, device type, crash reports, system activity, wireless carrier name (when you use a wireless or mobile device), and the date, time, and referrer URL of your request. The Company may use both persistent and session cookies; persistent cookies remain on your computer after you close your session and until you delete them, while session cookies expire when you close your browser.

We collect information about your activity on our Site, Internet, network, and other online activity information, such as browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with our Site and other websites. 2. Information you provide to us
You may provide Personal Information to us through our Site. For example, you can register to use our Site or create an account with us, which allows or requires you to provide certain information to us (e.g., contact information such as your name, email address, telephone number, etc.). You provide Personal Information and other information to when you contact us through our Site. To become a subscriber to the Service you will need to create a personal profile. You can create a profile by registering with the Service and entering your email address, and creating a user name and a password. By registering, you are authorizing us to collect, store and use your email address in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
3. Children’s Privacy
The Site and the Service are not directed to anyone under the age of 16. The Site does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 16 or allow anyone under the age of 16 to sign up for the Service. In the event that we learn that we have gathered personal information from anyone under the age of 16 without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete that information as soon as possible. II. HOW AND WHY WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION
Use of Personal Information:
We use your Personal Information to operate, maintain, supervise, administer, improve and enhance our Site and related Services, features and functionality. We use your contact information to communicate and interact with you, such as to send you emails and text messages about our Site. We use the IP address assigned to your device to send you the data you request to display on your device. We use unique identifiers stored in cookies on your device to help us authenticate you as the person who should have access to certain areas and features of our Site. We also use your information to ensure our Site is working as intended, such as tracking outages or troubleshooting issues that you report to us. And we use your information for research and development for our business, and to make improvements to our Site.
We use data collected from you and your devices for analytics and measurement to understand how our Site is used. For example, we analyze data about your use of our Site to accomplish tasks such as optimizing our Site and Services. We use a variety of tools to do this, such as Google Analytics and similar third-party online data analytics services.

This includes detecting, preventing, and responding to fraud, abuse, security risks, and technical issues that could harm Company, our users, or the public. Personalized and interest-based advertising.
We partner with third party advertising networks that collect IP addresses, unique device identifiers, browser type, operating system, time zone, country, referring pages, and other information through the use of cookies, pixel tags, and server logs on our Site. They use this information to provide you with interest-based advertisements that are customized to your particular preferences, including for companies that are not affiliated with us. You may see these interest-based advertisements on our Site, as well as on third party websites and apps, and across different devices you use. We may use this process to help us manage and improve the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. It also allows to display ads to our users about Company after they leave our Site, and to track users after they see or click on an advertisement, keep track of users who access our Site or advertisements from different devices, and better provide advertisements to our target audiences. The data collected through these tracking technologies is also saved and processed by our advertising and marketing service provider partners.
Sharing Personal Information
Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise share for marketing purposes your Personal Information with third parties without your consent. We do share Personal Information with vendors who are performing services for the Company, such as the servers for our email communications who are provided access to user’s email address for purposes of sending emails from us. Those vendors use your Personal Information only at our direction and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
In general, the Personal Information you provide to us is used to help us communicate with you. For example, we use Personal Information to contact users in response to questions, solicit feedback from users, provide technical support, and inform users about promotional offers.
We may share Personal Information with outside parties if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable legal process or enforceable governmental request; to enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations; address fraud, security or technical concerns; or to protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public as required or permitted by law.
In the event we undergo a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personal Information may be among the assets transferred. De-identified information. We may de-identified and aggregated information, so that it cannot be reasonably used to identify any individual, with third parties for marketing, advertising, research, or similar purposes.
III. HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION
We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Your account is protected by your account password and we urge you to take steps to keep your personal information safe by not disclosing your password and by logging out of your account after each use. We further protect your information from potential security breaches by implementing certain technological security measures including encryption, firewalls and secure socket layer technology. However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of such firewalls and secure server software. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.
IV. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND UNDER STATE LAWS
In addition to the disclosures and rights set forth elsewhere in this Policy, you and other users may have certain rights based on applicable state law, for example, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California’s Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). When we send a promotional communication to a user, the user can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional e-mail and SMS. Please note that notwithstanding the promotional preferences you indicate, we may continue to send you administrative emails including, for example, periodic updates to our Privacy Policy.
We offer you choices on how you can opt out of our certain uses and sharing of your Personal Information. As a general rule, you cannot opt out of our collection, use and sharing of Personal Information to the extent it is necessary to provide the Site or related Services, features and functionality to you.

You can also block cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of all or some cookies. We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. Accessing and correcting Personal Information
In addition to any data access capabilities available through the Site, please Contact Us if you have any questions about your Personal Information. Please inform us of any changes or errors in any Personal Information we have about you to ensure that it is complete, accurate, and as current as possible. You may also have certain deletion rights in accordance with applicable law. Deletion Request Rights
You may have the right to request that Company delete your Personal Information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your Personal Information from our records, unless certain exceptions apply.

- Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
V. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
As part of the Service, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications. However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Site and the Service. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of a third-party website accessed by selecting a link on our Site or via our Service. To the extent that you access or use the Service through or on another website or application, then the privacy policy of that other website or application will apply to your access or use of that site or application.
