Blood Donations Needed!

Efforts are underway to Strengthen Florida’s blood supply prior to Tropical Storm Nicole. Blood donors are urgently needed in areas not impacted by the storm.  If you are eligible to donate blood please visit a OneBlood donor center or Big Red Bus blood drive as soon as possible.  All blood types are needed and there is an increased need for O Negative and O Positive donors, as well as platelet donors.

  • Hernando
  • Hillsborough
  • Lafayette
  • Lake
  • Levy
  • Manatee
  • Marion
  • Orange
  • Osceola
  • Pasco
  • Pinellas
  • Polk
  • Seminole
  • Sumter
  • Suwannee
  • Union

 

Big Red Bus drives for the following counties are canceled. Donor centers will remain open in these counties:

  • Baker
  • Brantley
  • Camden
  • Charlton
  • Clay
  • Duval
  • Glynn
  • Nassau
  • Pierce
  • Saint Johns

Our locations in North and South Carolina will be open as usual.

We will be updating our storm page as new information about location closings becomes available.

If you live in an area outside of the storm path and are eligible to donate please visit a location near you and help keep the blood supply strong. Walk-ins are welcome or you can make an appointment.
