I'm blessed having never truly been ill. I've donated to a few charities, at some point I wondered what more could I do. I never really thought about my blood type (AB+), at some point I discovered the healing power of something I have an abundance. Initially I was intimidated by the time commitment involved (platelet donations take ~2 hours on the machine) but I resolved to do it because it's the right thing and people are counting on me. I don’t know if it help, but my donations come with well wishes and a prayer. I hope there is an actual feeling that invigorates those who receive my donations and it's a step on the road to full recovery.
