I am 64 years old and have had liver cirrhosis for 7 years. Secondary to the cirrhosis, my hemoglobin frequently drops due to GI bleeds and I require blood transfusions. If people like my donor did not take the time to donate blood, my hemoglobin would eventually drop to a point where I could not survive. Please , if you can, take the time to go to the next Big Red Bus you see in your community and donate some blood ... it saves lives!! thank you so much for your time!
