The need for blood never stops, and donations are needed in advance of the holiday!
Donors Centers close at 3pm, and blood drives end at 2pm on Wednesday, December 24 and OneBlood will be closed on Thursday, December 25.

I was an Rh factor baby almost 64 years ago. Back then, I was transferred to the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh for a complete blood transfusion. There was no testing available back then like there is now.

I started donating blood in my 20's. I was able to donate half pints for children because I only weighed 90+ pounds.  Fast forward decades later, I've become a donor here in Florida. I started donating blood after we moved from Pennsylvania.

I donate now in memory of my Dad who had two types of cancer and needed several blood transfusions while he was receiving chemotherapy. It makes me feel good knowing that my B- blood is helping others.
