I served as a Paramedic Firefighter and saw many occasions where trauma patients would go through many units of blood before their injuries were stabilized. I have also had patients die for lack of available blood supplies.

Blood is essential for saving our neighbor’s lives. I have made it my mission to donate at every available opportunity. Although retired now, I feel like I am still saving lives.
