While my family a I were on vacation in Florida my little 16 month old son, Rhodes, started getting sick which at first we thought it was just a cold. After a few days we started noticing some bruising and a rash, later discovered it was petechiae. This concerned us so on July 11 2023 we took Rhodes to the ER to have blood work ran.
After getting the results from the blood work our vacation turned into a nightmare when we were then told our son has cancer.
He was diagnosed with B-Cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia which required many blood and platelet transfusions. We are so grateful and blessed for everyone who donates blood products which has kept our son alive and many many more people in this world alive and well. Thank you all and keep donating!!
