Debbie & Kristelle
When my daughter Kristelle was 3 years old, she had her tonsils removed. It was supposed to be a routine surgery, but it ended up being one of the scariest events of our lives.
Three days after the surgery she hemorrhaged and lost an enormous amount of blood from her little body. She had to be rushed by ambulance to the hospital and needed two full units of blood.
Blood donors saved our little girl's life, and we could not be more grateful.
She is now a happy and healthy 23-year-old who just graduated from UCF. She has been donating blood regularly since she was 16 years old as a way to say thank you!
