Back in 2012 I was shot 4 times, twice in the main artery located in the back of my leg. I had compartment syndrome and almost bled to death. Not only did someone donating their blood save my life, it also saved my leg, and still to this day I still have my life and my legs, so donating blood is very important. You never know whose life you may be saving.
