My name is Erica. I am 36 years old. I sadly lost a pregnancy in which was my baby boy Luca at just about 20 weeks old. Last week I suffered bleeding out after delivering him on Friday, June 10, 2022. I had to go into surgery not knowing if I was going to come back home to my beloved husband and 2 children. I am a rare blood type and they did a blood transfusion on me, and your blood literally brought me back to life. I am forever grateful. Being so scared, sad, and shocked, I now realize the importance of donating blood and so do all my friends and family. We will be blood donors because this experience taught us how it can save lives.
