I was healthy, active, strong, until I suddenly felt ill. The last thing I expected was to have leukemia. 33 days in the hospital, numerous transfusions, and now outpatient treatments, including blood products. I am looking towards more of the same, and each time I look at the bag I say thank you.  

People expect to get the care they need without thinking about where it may come from.  Blood products only come from one place, so a huge thank you to all those who give.
