The need for blood never stops, and donations are needed in advance of the holiday!
Donors Centers close at 3pm, and blood drives end at 2pm on Wednesday, December 24 and OneBlood will be closed on Thursday, December 25.

For a very long time, I suffered from extremely bad menstrual cycles. So much so that it caused me to be low iron anemic.

I suffered monthly and had to take daily iron pills in order to have my body operate at a safe level.

The time finally came for a hysterectomy, however my blood was too low. I was in need of a blood transfusion.

Due to the generosity of donors, I was able to receive two units that gave me enough blood to endure the surgery.

I, unfortunately, am unable to donate blood due to a blood clotting disorder therefore it is so much more important to me to see people donate and be able to thank them and support them in other ways.
