I caught COVID in early July, and during my illness my stomach started bleeding a lot. By the time I got admitted in the hospital I was extremely dehydrated and anemic.
I was in the hospital from July 28 to August 18, 2021. I lost a lot of weight and strength, but now I am regaining my strength more and more each day. The two pints of blood helped me come back to life slowly but surely.
I have never been seriously sick in all my life.
The church I played piano at went out of their way to watch over and support me during my illness. They supported us financially as well as cutting the grass while I was in the hospital. My wife also was a great advocate for me while in the hospital as she would talk with the doctors and nurses concerning my progress.
This tangible support from my wife, the church, and you the blood donor was love that helped bring me back to health. This is why I would love to thank you (the Donor) because it means so much to me. Thank you!
