In 1983, I had 37 transfusions during & after the birth of a son at 29 weeks. The placenta had ruptured at 1 a.m. My son survived 16 hours. The doctor said he never knew of anyone losing that amount of blood and surviving.

Thank you to those who took the time to donate. Without them, I would not be here. My husband, 6 other kids & 10 grandkids appreciate those people as well, I am sure.
