My first time donating, I was 16 in high school. Ever since that day, I'm always waiting for emails, text messages, or any kind of notification to know where and when I can go donate.
I see and hear several testimonies, and it's just amazing what people all over the country can do to save/change a life. I will continue to donate as long as I can. I'm 23 years old and it makes my heart happy that I can save a life.
In May of 2020, I had COVID-19. I did not have a clue what antibodies were until I was told I had them, and my blood was great to donate for patients with COVID-19 that need blood transfusions. I still have my antibodies, and now I'm more happy to donate than ever.
I encourage everyone to go donate.
