I am an identical twin and she was diagnosed with AML, (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) an aggressive blood cancer. I was able to donate my stem cells to her and she is 7 years Cancer free. She also received countless blood transfers and platelets. I worked at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and so I know firsthand how important it is to donate.
