I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma back in April of this year. I was suffering from excruciating back pain and spent a month and a half in the hospital when the diagnosis was discovered via a bone marrow biopsy. My kidney function is not that great, and I go for dialysis three times a week. I also go for chemo treatment once a week. Once in a while, I have to go for blood transfusions because my blood level is very low. I thank all you blood donors out there for taking the time to donating blood. You may not realize it, but you are saving lives. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
