A few years ago, when I was in my 20's, I learned the importance of blood donation. My precious grandma was hospitalized and needed a blood transfusion, but as much as they looked they said to us that there were none of her type. I saw my granny looking pale, and every day worse.
I prayed to God for a miracle, and then they did find one pint of blood for her. Oh, my! Were my family and I so happy and thankful for it! From that day on, I promised myself that as long as I could I was going to donate my blood, and so I kept my promise.
She passed away few months later, but I will never forget the agony of searching for a blood donor that matched my grandma’s blood type. Please, don't hesitate to donate. It's a way of paying forward all good things God has given to you to others in need. God bless you all!
