Since I was 13, I've been counting the years and now days until I could be 16 years old and donate blood. I was born prematurely, and family and friends direct donated blood for me in case I needed it. Now I get to donate and save 3 lives every time.
My goal is to save 77 lives in honor of my favor hockey player, Victor Hedman - so I am trying to get 26 people to donate blood on my behalf on my birthday, February 6.
I will be at the MLK location because Crystal works there and has always been really good at taking care of my Dad when he gives blood.
I am so excited, it is all I can talk about at school. Thank you!! See you on the 6th for my "Sweet 16 birthday party!"
