When I donated blood for the first time, I was informed that I have a rare blood type, and I immediately knew I would want to donate every chance I could to help people in need. My thoughts about donating blood is that you never know who will need it. One day you might, or someone close to you. So if I can help out those who need it, I will as much as I can.
