My 4-year-old son, Paxton, has been fighting leukemia and the chemo caused his platelets to drop. Today, he bumped his head and had to be life flighted to a trauma unit where they discovered a brain bleed. He received several units of donor platelets to help stop the bleed, and they are hopeful he will make a full recovery. I am so thankful for our donor! They saved my son’s life!
