In 1999, I was in a terrible motorcycle accident and in the hospital for 2 months with serious injuries to both legs. I had to have blood transfusions. If it wasn’t for the people who donate, I wouldn’t be here today. Ever since then, I have donated whole blood every chance I get. I love knowing that I am saving someone’s life.
