My name is Sam Young, I am 13 years old. I've had cancer twice, once when I was eight and once when I was 11.

Because the cancer came back I also had to have a bone marrow transplant, I'm very lucky my sister could help me with that. The cancer is gone, and since I've gotten better, my mom has told me that through my treatment I needed over 50 donations of blood.

I am really grateful to all those people that donated and didn't even know that I would be helped by their blood. With all the people sick in our world I really hope people keep donating for kids like me.
