I donate to save a life, just as my life was saved 12-10-2010, from others that took the time to donate.
On December 10th, 2010, I was in a critical automobile accident that resulted in a broken neck and multiple other body fractures. I spent almost 45 days in the ICU before being moved into the step-down process.
If it wasn't for the transfusions I received while in the ICU, I wouldn't be here today sharing this story and my gratitude to the others that donated when they did.
My commitment is to donate as often as I'm eligible - not for the promotions or rewards, but rather to simply provide the hope and chance to others for life; that same opportunity that was provided to me by one simple selfless act!
And thank you one blood for your participation in sharing the power for all.
