I received 4 pints of blood during my 6-day stay at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. My husband found me unconscious in the bathroom where I was hemorrhaging due to a GI Bleed. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and at the ER I received two pints of blood. I then suffered a second GI bleed while in the hospital two days later, and was transferred to ICU where I spent 3 days recovering. There I received another 2 pints of blood. I cannot thank my donors enough. I am grateful and so thankful as these blood donors truly saved my life. I am so happy I am able to send them a thanks! Feeling blessed - Terri
