Who We Are and What We Do

OneBlood is a not-for-profit, community asset responsible for providing safe, available and affordable blood to our hospital partners and their patients.

OneBlood was created when several independent not-for-profit blood centers merged and together brings more than 100 years of lifesaving experience to the communities we serve.

We are committed to saving lives in your community!

Education Assistance and Scholarship Program Overview

${1} Earn Funds for Each Donation

OneBlood will provide $20 for each successful donation at school blood drives.

${2} No Cap on the Program

There is no cap on the program. The more successful donations at your school event, the more scholarship funds for your school. For example: 200 successful donations = $4,000 in scholarships, 210 successful donations = $4,200.

${3} Twice Yearly Payments

Scholarship payments will be issued to your school twice a year. Once in January and again at the end of the school year.

${4} Maximize Your Impact

By hosting a minimum of 4 blood drives a year, your school will maximize the scholarship program.

It's A Rewarding Experience!

Every two seconds, someone needs blood. Because it cannot be manufactured and has a short shelf life, the blood supply depends on the ongoing generosity of donors. Each donation brings strength, hope, and courage to patients and families in our local hospitals.

DID YOU KNOW?

62% of the population is eligible to donate blood — yet only about 3% actually do.
