Carrie brings more than 20 years of senior legal leadership experience across highly regulated industries, including healthcare, medical devices, insurance, financial services, and publicly traded companies. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Legal, Americas Division at WS Audiology, where she acted as general counsel for operations across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. In that role, Carrie led legal and compliance strategy for commercial real estate, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, data privacy, and complex contract negotiation, while advising on healthcare regulatory matters.
Previously, Carrie served as Lead Counsel for HearUSA and HearCanada, overseeing all legal and compliance matters for approximately 500 retail healthcare locations across North America. Her responsibilities included provider compliance, managed care relationships, corporate governance, board and committee support, and frequent acquisitions of retail healthcare centers.
Earlier in her career, Carrie held multiple senior legal roles at Nationwide Insurance, including Associate Vice President and Assistant Secretary, as well as Assistant General Counsel roles at Ocwen Financial Services, where she advised on SEC reporting, securities regulation, corporate finance transactions, insider trading compliance, and executive compensation for publicly traded companies. She began her legal career at Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP, focusing on corporate and transactional law.
Carrie earned her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she served on The Ohio State Law Journal, and holds dual bachelor’s degrees, cum laude, in History and Communications from Ohio University. She is admitted to the State Bar of Ohio and is licensed as Authorized House Counsel in Florida.
