As President and Chief Executive Officer of OneBlood, Cliff Numark ensures continuity and strategic focus for OneBlood.
Cliff has extensive leadership experience in blood banking having spent more than two decades leading operations and marketing teams at both the American Red Cross, and Vitalant.
Cliff served as Senior Vice President of Donor Operations and Chief of Marketing for Vitalant from 2019 – 2025. Cliff oversaw 2,200 team members and was responsible for 1.6 million collections annually for more than 900 hospitals across 28 states.
Before joining Vitalant Cliff spent more than 16 years at the American Red Cross where he was a senior executive responsible for leading donor services and operations at local, regional and national levels, including serving as CEO of the American Red Cross Southern California Region.
Cliff has been recognized as a transformational strategic leader with a proven record of achieving operational growth, building strong teams, and creating and implementing innovative marketing and recruitment programs.
Cliff serves on the board of America’s Blood Centers and is a respected and well-known leader in the blood industry.
Cliff earned a law degree from University of California, Berkeley, has a Master’s in Public Affairs from Princeton University, a Master’s of Science from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom and has a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Chemistry and Public Policy from Pomona College.
