Join us for a special blood drive in memory of Kellie Wesson.
Kellie Wesson was a bright light to many. Her family and friends knew of her love, determination and compassion. Many knew of her strong faith in God and her desire to help others. Her faith and desire to help others only grew stronger as she battled liver cancer. She often used her experiences to help others navigate their journey with cancer. She was more than willing to share her journey and faith with anyone. During her battle with liver cancer, she benefited from blood that had been donated by others. It was this gift from a stranger that caused her to want to set up a blood drive to help others.
On March 12, 2025 Kellie held her first blood drive. Even though her battle with cancer had intensified, she was determined to see it through. Our community was gracious and the blood drive was a tremendous success. Kellie had planned another blood drive for May 2025 but God chose to call her to her heavenly home before that blood drive could take place. Kellie's family want to honor her memory and her desire to help others by sponsoring an annual blood drive to help so many who are also in need of gifts from a stranger.
