I started donating blood in the mid 80’s in PA where I worked and continued after I moved to SC in 1990. I discovered I have A- blood which only 6% of the population have. Little did I know that one day my late wife would be diagnosed with leukemia and required blood transfusions. I am thankful for others that donated for her while she battled her cancer before she departed for heaven. My desire is that my blood will provide others with good health.
