My wife and I donate blood because our son Jordan was shot and killed, but fought for his life in the hospital. He was the strongest person we ever knew. He fought so hard and was able to come out of a medical induced coma, communicate and tell his mom he loved her. He would not have been able to do that he not received donated blood. We were able to be with Jordan three more weeks because of blood donations.
