Back in 1989 at the age of 30, I received 4 units of life saving blood, which allowed me to go on and raise my family and live my life. Life was very busy, along with military moves back and forth across the ocean. Roll on to 2026 and I am now retired and have just made my second donation, with every intention to donate for as long as possible. I will be forever thankful to the donors who made it possible for me to keep on keeping on. Donating now is my way of giving back.
