I was a 17-year-old senior in high school when I donated my first pint of blood. Inside it felt good to know that somebody out there needed that pint of A+ blood. I was hooked on giving from that point on. I am now 69 and am working on my 26th donated gallon and hope to continue as long as I can. I appreciate OneBlood and their respect for the donors and also the feeling you get when you know you are helping out someone who has a need for your blood.
