I began donating blood at the age of 18. Several years later, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. She battled the disease for a decade, but ultimately succumbed to it. Following this, I transitioned to donating platelets, recognizing their critical role in the treatment of cancer patients. Subsequently, my father also received a cancer diagnosis, and witnessing his passing was profoundly difficult. This personal history underscores my commitment to ongoing donations, initiated in my youth, to support those in need.
