My mom had an intestinal bleed while living alone in her vacation home in Florida. She drove herself to the hospital and needed six units of blood. She had difficult blood to cross match and OneBlood provided the blood she desperately needed. I went to Florida to drive her home to NH and cleaned her carpets while I was there. There was a lot of blood and I ran out of floor cleaner. Had to go to Walmart to get more and there was a Big Red Bus right outside waiting for donations.
