Actress Melissa Gilbert, while vacationing in Fort Lauderdale, took time out to share her power on the Big Red Bus. Best known as Laura or halfpint on the hit TV series Little House on the Prairie, Gilbert has starred in many made for TV movies and competed on the hit TV show, Dancing With The Stars.

The actress is a big advocate of donating blood and gives several times a year. During her donation Gilbert uploaded a picture to her social sites with the caption “Halfpint gives a whole pint.” and tagged OneBlood.
