I donated at my workplace for 35 years. After retiring, I saw an ad for the Big Red Bus, so started donating every other month. My late husband always donated every time he could, but passed away of AML in just 3 weeks in 2013. In June, 2025, my son passed away with glioblastoma after five months. I am even more dedicated to donating my blood now, and appreciate the opportunity to help others.
