I donate blood because, when I was little, my mom needed it after surgery complications. Strangers stepped up and gave, and because of them she survived. I got to grow up with my mom. That kindness changed my life forever. Now I donate to pay that gift forward, and I share this because someone you love could need it too. One donation can truly save lives, and it only takes a little time to make a huge difference.
If you’ve ever thought about donating, this is your sign. Be the reason a family gets more time together. And yes, you’ll meet great people, grab some snacks, and even leave with a little swag, but the real reward is knowing you helped save a life. Me, my mom and my son are making memories because of the kindness of the people that donated and saved my mom.
