I lost my Daughter, Melissa, to pancreatic cancer on Oct 05, 2024. She was only 47. She fought it hard for almost a year. There were a few times where She could not receive her chemo treatments because of low platelet count. That is why I know how important platelet donors are. Since I have AB pos blood type anyone can receive my platelets. Therefore I donate platelets in honor of my Daughter, Melissa Lynn Luman (My Lil Angel Always), for as long as I can.
