Started giving many, many years ago when I heard that a friend of mine had died of leukemia. Backstory was, went to the funeral and the word was out that he didn’t have enough white cells to fight the leukemia. So 30+ years later, 76 1/2 gallons of whole blood donations. I’ll give until I can’t.
