Around 20 years ago I started donating blood. I had always known that my blood type was O negative, and I knew that only 8% of the population has that blood type. It wasn't until I really started reading and researching it that I found out that my blood makes me a universal donor and very much in demand in an emergency and in hospitals. I'm a regular donor and OneBlood makes it easy and I am part of a great community of people that have donated and saved the lives of many. It's one of the things I've done in my life that I'm actually most proud of. Blood donation is a gift that I am truly happy to give.
