In my undergrad university (KUET) in Bangladesh, there is a blood donation organization named Dream. I was the General Secretary of that organization. On average, we were used to collecting 90-100 bags of blood per month for patients who were in need. All of the blood donors were from my university.
So there are many experiences to share. One of them I want to share today.
Once, I donated my blood to a pregnant lady during her delivery.
After giving birth to one baby boy, her husband invited me to the hospital she was in. Because he wanted me to touch his son's head and bless him so that his son could grow up to be a good man (blood donor) like us. And the family also offered some hand-cooked meals. They also blessed me. That day is still one of the best days in my life. The inner peace I felt after each donation and managing the blood, that was just indescribable.
